Russian Christmas Present
This year, Mom and Dad asked each of our families to do something different for our Christmas present from them. Because we would be apart on Christmas, and things wouldn't be as, "usual", they wanted this Christmas to be a little different as well. They gave each family the assignment of purchasing something that reminded them of Granny and Pa serving in Russia during this Christmas holiday. Our family chose a nativity of Russian nesting dolls, and a Christmas book. On Christmas Eve we read the book, which was darling! We will continue to read it as a tradition in our family. It was so much fun reading and learning about the traditions and beliefs in Russia. This Christmas was definitely different and a bit difficult, but it will be one we will always remember. Love you Granny and Pa!
