Disney Cruise Preparation

Dianna, being the BEST mother-in-law in the world, decided we girls should have a day of preparing for the cruise together. She scheduled manicures and pedicures for all the girls, including Gracie and Kate, along with Spray tans for all the "older" ladies. We had a great time hanging out together, shooting the breeze, talking about what we would be taking with us, what color our toes and nails should be, and just laughing. No one could believe this was my VERY FIRST Pedicure and manicure and oh.... how I loved it. Hopefully it's not my last!

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of Bree. She was there, but was playing photographer!

Kate and Gracie. Cutest little girls ever. Funny -- I finally have my first pedicure at 40 and Gracie has her first at 9. Hm.... go figure.

This was the only down-side to the cruise. Usually when we go out of town, Maho stays with Watson at Bree's house. Well, that wasn't an option this time, because Bree and her family were going on the cruise too. So, Bree did alot of research and found this fabulous, "boarding" house for the dogs. A couple of weeks before, they went for their initial consultation, where they were checked out and introduced to many other dogs, verifying they had good social skills. They passed their tests and were allowed to come back for the time we were leaving.
The evening before, we loaded Maho up for a sleepover at Bree's house. She would take both Maho and Watson to, "Camp Bow Wow" in the morning. This picture is of Maho heading out for his slumber party! Take note of the coke in the back of the car. That, along with a bag of Chex Mix was given to the workers as a small, "bribe" to please be nice to our pup dogs.

Turns out they had a great time. They shared a tent together each night and were able to hang out alot. The workers loved them, which is no surprise. Who doesn't love my dog? I mean... really? What's not to love? While on the boat, we were able to log on to the doggy website and view our pups a couple of times. They were so cute and we missed them terribly. But... the trip was worth it!!!
