The kids were in charge of setting the table for our meal. We had a delicious candlelight dinner.

The entire day the kids had been so anxious to open their Christmas P.J's. So after dinner, we gave them gifts, let them get all nice and cozy, then watched, "Joy to The World" and discussed the birth of our Savior.

This year, Granny and Pa asked us to buy a family gift that would remind us of their Christmas in Russia. As a family, we chose to purchase a Nativity set of Russian nesting dolls, and a book about Christmas time in Russia. Each year as we decorate for Christmas we will set out our dolls, read our book and think of the Christmas that Granny and Pa were serving the Lord.

Finally, it was bedtime. Dane read, "The Night Before Christmas", and we tucked our little ones in for the night.
